      BRUSSELS — NATO is discussing how to step up its response to the European migrant crisis by expanding its presence in the Mediterranean region, Secretary General Jens .   In , NATO launched two new ambitious initiatives: the Partnership for Peace (PfP) and the Mediterranean Dialogue (MD).
